Yes, it’s St George’s Day, the patron saint of England and so many other places. The guy who slew the dragon, or maybe not!
Personally, I think the dragon got a bad rap and wasn’t quite so ferocious after all!
I bet they really went down to the pub and had a drink together, while concocting a story to make them both look good!
And it worked pretty well, as they are both still remembered after all of these years!
So, in their honour, let’s fly the St George’s flag with pride today and celebrate our patron saint as the Scots, Welsh, and Irish are allowed to!
And let’s share all things St George, dragons, and good old England!
