❓🤔Telly Quizzes ❓🤔

Well, love them or hate them, they have been around a long time, and there are plenty of them about nowadays.

I remember watching, way back, Double Your Money with Hughie Green and Take Your Pick with Michael Miles.  I think most of us will remember them. They were good in their day. They did try and revive Take Your Pick with a different presenter, but it wasn't the same.

There have been a lot of quizzes on the telly through the years. Some good, some, well, awful doesn't do them justice. The Golden Shot, with Bob Monkhouse, 321, The Price is Right with, I think, Larry Grayson, to name a few, and things like University Challenge go back a long time.
There were also some good quizzes for kids around about tea time, like Blockbusters. The well-known phrase from that "I will have a P, please, Bob"! Blankety Blank was a brilliant one, well, not quiz-wise, but Les Dawson made that his own. It is back on telly now with Bradley Walsh and is very good indeed, well, good for a laugh! I would imagine that worldwide Who Wants To Be A Millionaire with Chris Tarrant is the most watched. It is still on but with a different presenter now.

Nowadays, it seems to be Pointless, with Richard Osman, and The Chase, which is my favourite, with Bradley Walsh. There is also Richard Osman’s House of Games, and a very good quiz called Impossible that is on and off.  Countdown remains popular, as does Eggheads, but they really are a bunch of bores. I am sure most of you will have heard of these popular quizzes even if you have never watched them.

We do tend to watch a quiz while eating tea, either The Chase or Richard Osman’s House Of Games. We video University Challenge and Mastermind and use them as fill-ins between programmes. They can be quite fun as well.

Let us know your favourite TV quiz, or even if you watch them. A quiz to me shouldn't be too easy but not too difficult that you can't answer any of the questions. It is good fun trying to get the questions before the answers come up, gives your brain some exercise.

Today let us have some quiz fun, and post anything television quiz related even clips from the old ones, if you can find any.

So get your brain in gear, and let's quiz!!
