Novelty records have been around really since at least the 50’s and maybe before. I remember this one and know all the words!

I have to say most of them were awful, but as always, and sometimes some really good ones. Some awful ones used to knock really good songs from getting to number 1 in the charts.
This was one of the better ones!

There are hundreds of novelty records sung by all sorts of people, including some who were good singers without doing them.

So what do you think of novelty records?
I think they are fun and generally terrible, but always good for a laugh.
