Well, there are just over 2 weeks to go to Christmas Day. Now is the time I tend to go into panic mode! There always seems so much to get done and so little time left, but it all comes together in plenty of time.

The best plan of action is to make lists of what is left, and then have great fun in crossing the whole lot off. Don’t forget to book your online food delivery either or you will end up trolley shopping with loads of other people!!

If you haven’t posted your cards yet, this week is a good time to get them sent, so they arrive in plenty of time for Christmas, along with any gifts you have to send. It is time to start putting the decorations and lights up as well, and even the tree. It always cheers a place up on dull and busy days and reminds us of what we are doing it all for.

You could start making your mince pies and any other tarts you want. They can always be frozen for the big day, and less to do on Christmas Eve when you should be having fun, relaxing with a glass of your favourite drink and a mince pie, and preparing for Santa, stockings hung up and food out for Santa

I would just like to remind you all that not everybody or a lot of animals are as fortunate as we and our pets are, so please remember when shopping to buy something extra to put in the donation bins at the supermarkets, and don’t forget the animals as well.
