☕🍵Let’s Enjoy Some Tea☕🍵

The tea industry provides millions of people with their morning cuppa every morning, with India being the biggest supplier of tea. But sadly, many of the working conditions on tea plantations need improvement. So, when you are drinking your morning cuppa, spare a thought for the people who have made this possible for you.

Tea dates back a long time.

2737 BC it was discovered as a beverage. The story is that the Chinese Emperor Shen Nung was sitting under a tea tree while a servant boiled water to drink. A few leaves fell into the water, and the rest, they say, is history

1773 The Boston Tea Party occurs. Residents of Massachusetts threw boxes of tea into the Boston Harbour as a revolt against the high taxes levied by the British Government.

If you're a lover of tea, do some research about your favourite brand and look at others; there are countless brands of tea around nowadays.
The proper tea was loose tea, which I remember my Grandmother using, and you can still buy it nowadays. It isn't as convenient as tea bags but has a much better flavour.
They say tea should be drunk with no milk and fairly strong.
Try some different teas to see which you like; there are also fruit and herbal teas around nowadays.
There are different thoughts on how to make a cuppa. Some say you don't need milk, but if you do need milk, do you put the milk in first or last?

So let us know your thoughts on tea. Do you drink a lot of it, or like me, none apart from Lemon and Ginger every morning? What sort of drink do you drink, and do you like it strong or weak?

So today, post all things tea-related, and let's enjoy a nice cup of tea!
