🎸🎧🎶It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll But I Like It🎸🎧🎶
Today is National Day of Rock and Roll.
Rock and Roll had an influence on music from day 1 in the 1950s and is still influencing people today. The music just wants to make you get up and dance and sing along to it, whatever time of day it is.
Rock ‘n’ roll introduced the world to legends like Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, and The Beatles, among many others, and the music is still as popular as it was when it started.
Rock and Roll had a tremendous impact on music and society, and it was all new and wonderful. It pushed technological boundaries in the production and performance of music and some brilliant, iconic sounds and styles and still influences artists today.
Today was started in 2020 to celebrate its influence and cultural significance.
Over the decades, Rock ‘n’ Roll has evolved, blending with other styles and continually changing but always maintaining its core appeal.
To celebrate today, go back in time and make a play list of every era of rock and roll and listen to it.
You could dress like a Rock Legend Chuck on a leather jacket, faded jeans and a bandana and strut around as if you are on stage and own it.
Listen to some Vinyl, dig the player and records out of hibernation, let the needle drop, and turn it up and fill the day with good old rock and roll.
Most of us like music, so today, post anything rock and roll related, get up and dance and have fun, and tell us your favourite artist or band.
