What is a Mum?

A mum is the sunrise that starts your day,
A guiding light when skies turn gray.
She’s the laughter in a song’s sweet tune,
The steady pull of the silver moon.

A mum is a whisper when dreams take flight,
A comforting hug in the darkest night.
She’s the roots that hold the tree so tall,
The safety net if ever you fall.

A mum is the courage when hope feels thin,
A cheerleader urging, “You’ll always win!”
She’s the softness in love’s gentle embrace,
A tapestry woven with endless grace.

A mum is a story, a heart, a guide,
A friend, a protector, always by your side.
What is a mum? A gift from above,
Boundless and timeless—she’s pure love.

If you have a mother,
Cherish her with care,
For you'll never know her value
Till you see her empty chair.  

That is also so true. 
We rarely appreciated them when we were young, but at the end of the day, they were always right. Although we never agreed with that at the time. 

 So today is our way of saying thank you, Mum, for everything you did and all you put up with, but you did a great job. 
Let’s post our thanks to our Mums and all things related to them, maybe some funny stories about them, or about how we tricked them as kids or thought we did.

We should also remember the Pet’s Mothers, who do a great job of looking after their fur babies.

So, let’s raise a glass to all Mums everywhere and say thank you!
