What do you associate the colour black with? Generally, it is associated with evil, darkness, sadness, Halloween, and Witches.
Of course, there is one of the biggest cons ever and people fall for it the Black Friday sale!

It is a very odd colour and comes from the absence or absorption of visible light. It is known as an achromatic colour like white and grey

There are many items and animals associated with black: Black Widow Spider, Black Panther, Black Rhino Black Horse to name a few, and the best of all a Black Cat. Coal is black, and so is a Blackboard, a Black hole, and you get black Coffee. and don't forget the saying "Black as Night".

You get black clothes, which used to be symbolic of mourners at a Funeral, but that tradition seems to be gone now. A Judge in Court will wear a Black robe as will the Barristers. Black has become very popular for everyday clothes and can look very smart and stylish, but beware if you are getting older, it ages you.

You can get black carpets, cushions, wallpaper and paint but not sure I would fancy those, to be honest. Mind you how about some nice black satin sheets or some nice black underwear !!
