📸A Trip Down Memory Lane📸

We all have memories, some good, some sad, and some bad. What we have to do is put the sad and bad ones behind us and concentrate on the good ones, and yes it can be done, cos I for one have done it.

Very true actually

At our ages we all have a lot of memories, but what is the first thing you can personally remember as a child and how old were you?
I remember the Queen's Coronation when I was 3 and was in Wales. I don’t remember much before that at all. Have some good memories of childhood and school etc. etc.

As we get older our actual memories fade a bit, but we can generally remember our memories, but maybe not the dates etc. when they happened, nobody can to that! And through life, we tend to take photographs of people, places etc. etc. and they are nice to look back on and sit and remember at times.

Growing up we have a lot of memories of things, holidays, parties, places you visited boy/girlfriends, first love, first job, etc. etc. and meeting the love of your life, or what you thought was, and getting married. And loads of photographs you never look at now! But nice to keep.

We remember all our pets with love and some sadness but we generally just remember the good times, and how lucky we were to have them with us even for just a short time. They certainly leave paw prints and great memories on and in your heart and are forever missed. They are probably the hardest thing to say goodbye to after Parents, but they and our Parents gave us so much to remember that we need to focus on that. We can store our memories on the computer nowadays as well, to make sure we don’t lose or forget them.

You shouldn't ever really forget your mistakes in life, or regret them, as you learn from them and make new memories. And sad memories like bad ones do fade if you let go of them and remember happier times. Even some bad times have had their happy side, so focus on that, not the sad or bad bit.

So share some of your memories with us, along with any pictures of memories of your childhood when life was just so much fun.
And let's make some more good memories today by having fun thinking of times gone by, some better some worse, but it is our life we are remembering and nothing is perfect.
Just remember nobody or nothing can take your memories away

‘Memories may be beautiful and yet
What's too painful to remember
We simply choose to forget
So it's the laughter we will remember
Whenever we remember
The way we were’

All are welcome.
